Service Divisions

The Attorney General’s Office has nearly 30 sections that serve Ohio citizens. Ohioans of all kinds – families, taxpayers, consumers, veterans, crime victims and more are touched by the work of the Attorney General’s Office.

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office provides an array of services for consumers, military service members and veterans, businesses, law enforcement agencies, crime victims and others. Among other things, the office offers state crime lab assistance, resolves consumer complaints, protects nursing home residents and advocates for Ohioans’ civil rights. To get one-stop help, you can call the Attorney General’s Help Center at 800-282-0515 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays.
