Competency Restoration and Probate Court Issues Committee

The Competency Restoration and Probate Court Issues Committee seeks to assist stakeholders with understanding, implementing, and successfully utilizing laws, regulations, and statutes pertaining to criminal competency restoration and civil commitments.   The Committee will educate, train, and provide resources to the community on issues, topics, and data relevant to these areas.  The Committee seeks to promote growth across large-scale systems; to reduce barriers to care encountered by persons with mental illness that are involved with the criminal justice system; and to streamline the provision of services, thereby enhancing outcomes and minimizing burden on existing systems.

    The Committee meets monthly on the third Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
