File a Complaint against a Law Enforcement Agency or Official
File a Complaint against a Law Enforcement Agency or Official that has established a formal or informal plan to utilize a quota as the basis by which to evaluate, promote, compensate, transfer or discipline a local or state police officer over whom the law enforcement official or agency has jurisdiction.
The Attorney General has provided this form for local or state police officers to report the use of quotas in violation of division (B)(1),(2), or (3) of Section 109.70 of the Ohio Revised Code by the law enforcement agency or official that has jurisdiction over the local or state police officer. Any report submitted by a complainant regarding the alleged use of quotas in violation of Section 109.70 will be investigated by the Attorney General’s Office within one year after receiving the report.
The Attorney General's office will review your complaint. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted. Your complaint will remain on file with our office and the information contained in it may be used to establish a violation of Ohio law. Complaints are a matter of public record and may be obtained upon request.
IMPORTANT!
This form is designed for use by state and local police officers, NOT the general public. If you will not certify that you are a state or local police officer, as defined
in ORC 109.70, please do not use this form.
