Details

On January 8, 2016, male skeletal remains were located in a city lot that contained an abandoned two-story house in a residential neighborhood. A fire had occurred at this address in 2012, 1345 Marcy Street, Akron, Ohio. The decedent is believed to be that of a Caucasian male between 30 and 55 years old. He was estimated to be about 5’9” tall, unknown weight, with unknown hair or eye color. Several articles of clothing that were found in association with the remains at the scene include: Croft and Barrow brand coat, size XXL, made in Sri Lanka, Territory brand coat, size XXL, made in Syria, 3 layers of pants: outer layer was Wrangler Jeans Co., straight leg jeans with red stitching in waistband, middle layer was an unknown brand, cotton polyester pants produced in Vietnam, innermost layer was an unknown brand, has a white stripe down the pant, leg black leather belt located in outermost pair of pants, A pair of black shoes with no identifiable logo was found. No tag, brand, or size could be identified. Additional items found with the body include: zipper pulls, a grommet, four coins, a buckle, unidentifiable metal fragment, one partial key, and one complete key, brand “A BUS” with serial number H 00471. Items such as hair style are the artist’s estimations to complete the image and should not be considered as significant markers for identification.
