Details

On 12/19/77, the body of Glenn "Billy" Payne was found in a shed behind his home at 6417 E. Livingston Ave, Reynoldsburg, OH. There was no evidence to indicate Payne was killed in or near his residence. Payne was last seen the morning of 12/16/77, when he left early in the morning with unknown males who picked him up in a blue van with a bubble window in the back. Payne was known to frequent the Laurelville area in Hocking County. It is believed he may have been killed near Laurelville and that his body was brought back to his residence. An autopsy revealed Payne died from a single stab wound to his abdomen.
