On Saturday January 28, 2017 at approximately 5:11 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police received a call and was requested to respond to a shooting at 229 S. Highland Ave. Upon arrival a few minutes later, the first responding officers encountered a male that had been shot. The suspect fired from outside of the residence and struck the victim. A CFD Medic checked the physical condition of the victim, 45yr old Eric Miller and he was pronounced dead at 5:19 p.m.
