Since 1978, the Domestic Violence Project Inc. (DVPI) has offered safety, compassion, hope and healing to victims of violence and their families in Stark County and surrounding communities. DVPI, part of the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, also provides transitional housing that has been extremely successful in placing individuals and families in homes and apartments when they’re ready to take the next step in their healing process. In addition, it offers evidence-based educational programs in Stark County schools geared toward at-risk youth.
