Attorney General DeWine Opens 20th Annual Two Days in May Conference

Columbus –  Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today opened the 20th annual Two Days in May Conference, bringing together the dedicated men and women who help victims of crime. This nationally recognized victim advocacy conference works to continually improve the services offered to crime victims and discover new ways to help. More than 1000 people are expected to attend.

Ohio Attorney General DeWine officially opened BCI’s new Athens office today. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Athens office will serve Southeastern Ohio counties with evidence intake, polygraphs, and other law enforcement services.

Attorney General DeWine Meets with Prescription Drug Abuse Advisory Council to Work on Prevention and Policy Solutions

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Attorney General Mike DeWine met today with the Ohio Attorney General's Prescription Drug Abuse Advisory Council.  The group will advise the Attorney General on prevention strategies and policy solutions, provide a forum to examine Ohio's efforts to combat the problem of prescription drug abuse, and identify and develop working relationships.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today the start of the 2011 Take Action High School Video Contest, which gives Ohio high school students a chance to win scholarship prizes by submitting videos on Internet safety.
