Columbus –  Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today opened the 20th annual Two Days in May Conference, bringing together the dedicated men and women who help victims of crime. This nationally recognized victim advocacy conference works to continually improve the services offered to crime victims and discover new ways to help. More than 1000 people are expected to attend.

“Bullying is hurtful and can be extremely harmful to victims,” said Attorney General DeWine. “We continue to see and hear reports about bullying. These workshops are another way we are working to protect Ohio’s families.”

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has made three appointments to the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel.

"Sandy Lynskey has the right combination of experience and knowledge that are essential in fighting for the rights of Ohio consumers," said Attorney General DeWine. "I am pleased that she has agreed to take this important position spearheading the legal efforts of the state on behalf of the rights of Ohio consumers."

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Attorney General Mike DeWine met today with the Ohio Attorney General's Prescription Drug Abuse Advisory Council.  The group will advise the Attorney General on prevention strategies and policy solutions, provide a forum to examine Ohio's efforts to combat the problem of prescription drug abuse, and identify and develop working relationships.

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine kicked off National Consumer Protection Week activities today, highlighting enhanced efforts to fight criminal scams and warning Ohioans about both the newest scams and the most frequently reported complaints. National Consumer Protection Week is March 6–12.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today the start of the 2011 Take Action High School Video Contest, which gives Ohio high school students a chance to win scholarship prizes by submitting videos on Internet safety.
