Community Fraud Forums

7/17/2012

This summer the Ohio Attorney General's Office is hosting regional Community Fraud Forums to discuss scams affecting consumers and small businesses.

Ohioans are invited to find out about new scams, to learn how to help fight financial predators, and to share their concerns and experiences with financial issues. Experts from the office will highlight how we can protect consumers, small businesses, senior citizens, and other vulnerable populations.

The forum will include a moderated panel discussion for all attendees, followed by special workshops for law enforcement, small businesses, and social workers or other caretakers.

Free Credit for Social Workers and Crime Prevention Officers
By attending the forum, social workers can obtain one hour of continuing education credit (CEU), and crime prevention officers can receive half a credit.
