Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost are leading a coalition of 18 attorneys general to ensure that the Biden Administration will faithfully defend a long-standing federal immigration statute that prohibits illegal re-entry.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is demanding that President Joe Biden and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reinstate Operation Talon, a nationwide operation to remove convicted sex offenders who are in the country illegally.

The state database containing photos from Ohio driver’s licenses and law enforcement sources has not been used by federal, state or local law enforcement to conduct mass surveillance, broad dragnets, political targeting or other illegitimate uses, a review by Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s office has concluded.

Members of the task force began investigating the Chillicothe residents when a woman reported to authorities that the suspects brought her to Columbus under false pretenses and forced her to have sex with more than a dozen men over a period of several days.  

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Ohio Latino Affairs Commission today urged anyone who is interested in pursuing participation in the federal government's deferred action process not to be deceived into paying for expensive assistance in applying. It's not yet clear what fees, if any, will be necessary and the federal government has asked that these requests not be submitted until it creates a process to accept them.
