(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine issued the following statement after the United States Supreme Court decision in United States v. Texas, which Ohio joined:
“This case has never been about immigration, but instead about preserving our Constitution’s separation of powers. I am pleased with the outcome of today’s decision because this is yet another judicial rebuke of the frequent overreach by the Obama Administration. The issue in this case is not the underlying policy, but the fact that the President had no authority to take these actions.”
