Attorney General DeWine Files Suit Against American Heroes Alliance for Misappropriating Charitable Assets

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today filed suit against Rebecca Drobnick, her two children, Timothy and Mindy Drobnick, and American Heroes Alliance in a 21-count complaint against them for violations of Ohio’s Charitable Trust Act and Charitable Organizations Act.  The suit alleges that Drobnick failed to register a charitable trust with the State of Ohio, mislead donors who believed their contributions would help veterans and their families, and misappropriated more than $150,000 of charitable assets for personal purposes.

Attorney General DeWine Seeks Consumer Restitution from Cleveland Roofer and Issues Warning

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today filed a lawsuit against Parma resident John Boyd, doing business as J & M Roofing & Contracting. The lawsuit charges Boyd with violating Ohio consumer laws by failing to deliver promised services and performing shoddy work. In light of the lawsuit, DeWine warned consumers to research home improvement contractors carefully.

Wanted Sex Offender: Eric Kesler

Eric Kesler, 28, last registered himself as living in Tiffin, Ohio, in January of this year.  The Seneca County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for his arrest Monday after finding that he failed to provide them with a change of address.
