The State of Ohio, through the Office of the Attorney General, registers entities that engage in telephone solicitation under the Telephone Solicitation Sales Act (TSSA) pursuant to ORC 4719. The State may initiate proceedings to deny or revoke a registration. These proceedings are governed by Ohio Revised Code Chapter 119, which outlines the administrative hearing process, including notice requirements, hearing procedures, and appeal rights.
This web page provides access to hearing information for upcoming ORC 119 proceedings related to TSSA, which are open to the public. All hearings will be held in the Rhodes Tower, 30 E. Broad St., Lobby Hearing Room, Columbus, OH 43215, unless otherwise noted.
If you plan to attend, please be advised that Rhodes Tower security staff will require any visitor to the building to register at the security desk by showing a government-issued photo identification (e.g., a driver's license), pass through a metal detector, and allow belongings to be inspected. Visitors are not permitted to bring in backpacks. Please arrive early enough to complete this registration process before the hearing begins. Participants may find area parking at street meters and area parking garages, including the Statehouse Underground Parking Garage.
