Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that two Fugitive Safe Surrender programs will be conducted simultaneously in Columbiana and Trumbull counties at the end of July.

(MANSFIELD, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that the Fugitive Safe Surrender program will expand to Richland County this October. DeWine made his announcement at Oasis of Love Church in Mansfield, where the event will be held from October 5th through 8th.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Clark County Prosecutor Andy Wilson today announced that Dr. Han M. Yang has been sentenced to three years in prison for crimes related to running two “pill mills” in Dayton and New Carlisle.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Court's Decision in Doctor's License Revocation

Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that the permanent revocation of Douglas B. Karel's Ohio medical license was affirmed Friday by Judge Richard Sheward of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. The State Medical Board approved in July of last year a hearing officer's proposed order that Karel's license should be revoked because of his "conduct in repeatedly making large amounts of narcotics and other controlled substances available to patients with relatively little examination or scrutiny…."

Attorney General DeWine Announces Conviction in Medicaid Billing Fraud

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Attorney General Mike DeWine said that Alicia K. Mahone, of Cleveland, was convicted on Wednesday for billing for home health care not provided in the amount of $20,000. Mahone regularly submitted bills, from April to December 2010, to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services claiming to have provided 35 hours of patient care to a Medicaid recipient, while only having provided 15 hours.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Conviction in $70,000 Cleveland Medicaid Fraud Case

Attorney General Mike DeWine announced that Caroline Quinnie, owner of 3 Ease Home Health Care, was found guilty of a fourth-degree felony charge of Theft today, following a trial that began Tuesday. She is the owner of 3 Ease Home Health Care ambulette company and improperly billed Medicaid for $70,000.
