Cleveland Business Ordered to Pay $1.05 Million for Environmental Violations

Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) today announced that a Cuyahoga County judge has ordered Gray Container LLC of Cleveland and its affiliates to pay $1.05 million for hazardous waste and air pollution violations caused by the chemical drum reconditioning business. The business is located within a half of a block of residences, a park, and a church in East Cleveland.

Attorney General DeWine Seeks Consumer Restitution from Storm-Chasing Columbus Roofer

$153 Million Settlement Announced in Class Action Shareholder Suit Against Fannie Mae, KPMG

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that a $153 million settlement has been reached in a class action shareholder lawsuit with Fannie Mae and accounting firm KPMG. The settlement must be approved by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
