Attorney General DeWine Announces Formation of New Heroin Unit

“There is a heroin epidemic in Ohio,” said Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today in a news conference to announce disturbing new figures about the use of heroin in the state.  The data, gathered from coroners across the state, show that the use of heroin has increased dramatically over the last four years.

Ohio to Receive $716,624 in Google Multistate Settlement

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) today announced that Marion County Judge James Slagle has granted the Attorney General’s request for a preliminary injunction to order the proper removal of asbestos-containing materials at the former industrial site 333 Joseph Street in Marion.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Lawsuits Against Northeast Ohio Contractors

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced lawsuits against two Northeast Ohio home improvement contractors. The lawsuits accuse Mark Walker of Avon, and his business, All American Restoration, and Wayne Given of Silver Lake, doing business as Basement Waterproofing Solutions, of failure to deliver and performing shoddy work.
