The Great Oaks Police Academy has gone above and beyond in its training of police officers, meeting the standards of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s new STAR Academy program.

Ohio  Attorney General Dave Yost and six other attorneys general sued the Biden administration in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit today, asserting that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration lacks authority to force tens of millions of Americans in the private sector to get vaccinated.

Students from across Ohio are being encouraged to share their experiences with violence and develop solutions to protect other kids in their communities as part of a collaboration with Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and the Do the Write Thing program.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has joined a coalition of seven attorneys general in an amicus brief filed before the United States Supreme Court which argues the rights of former Delphi Corporation employees were violated when the corporation’s bankruptcy resulted in termination of their pensions.

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is encouraging providers of law enforcement basic training to raise the bar by applying for his new STAR Academy program, and the Akron Police Department’s Training Academy is the first to earn the certification.
