(CAMPBELL, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that a Campbell man has been taken into custody following a child pornography investigation.

Jason Gruber, 36, was arrested this afternoon on one felony charge of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Authorities with the Attorney General's Crimes Against Children Unit and the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office made the arrest after serving a search warrant on Gruber's Woodland Avenue home today.

Electronic devices were seized from the house.

The case is still under investigation and additional charges are possible.

Attorney General DeWine created the Crimes Against Children Unit, which is part of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, in 2011.  The unit assists law enforcement agencies throughout the state in investigating cases involving juvenile victims.
