Tonia was last seen during the early morning hours of March 29, 1997, leaving a bar called, "Chris's Place" in Elyria, Ohio. She was walking east on Clark Street towards Concord Avenue and was never heard from again. Her purse was later found with her ID still inside, but her medication that is used to prevent seizures was missing. She may have been wearing a T-shirt, blue or black pants, zip-up hooded sweatshirt, and sneakers. She has a pierced navel and ears. She has a tattoo of a panda on her right shoulder. She has a scar on her chin and one on her abdomen. The toenails from both big toes had been previously removed.
