On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at approximately 1:36 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to West Town Street and South Yale Avenue, on the report of an unresponsive female lying in the street. Responding officers located the victim, 28yr old Helen A. Shreve, in front of 1194 West Town Street. Ms. Shreve sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body.
