On September 7, 1998, at approximately 4:15 am, personnel from the Fire Division responded to a suspicious fire at 328 Warren Drive which took the life of 41yr old Darlene Rice. The fire consumed the residence and a vehicle located next to the residence. Firefighters located one victim inside a second floor bedroom of the residence. The victim of the fire was later identified as Darlene Rice and her death was ruled a homicide. Her family would like anyone with information that may assist in solving this crime to come forward.
