This class provides computer forensic examiners Information about network log aggregation, data identification and preservation. Topics include identifying intruders or rogue accounts, identifying or recreating actions of a user, identifying security measures bypassed or subverted, identifying and preserving stored, deleted or tampered information and isolating compromised resources.
This course is restricted to law enforcement officers only.
Prerequisites: Basic Networking or equivalent computer knowledge, completion of Evidence Recovery Specialist in Digital Environment Certification or actively involved in computer forensics.
