Close Call Reporting Database
Close Call Reporting Database
In January 2015 the Attorney General’s Office established the Close Call Reporting Database. Close call reporting is a process of identifying, analyzing, documenting, and sharing close calls to avoid a catastrophic incident. This database will give departments throughout the state access to anonymously submitted reports, agency created solutions, and training opportunities relevant to the close call. This information will be available on the website in the form of quarterly reports. Close call reporting can assist agencies by preventing injuries, maintaining a climate of safety, giving officers an open forum to discuss concerns they have, raising awareness of issues that affect officer safety, and sharing those experiences so others can reduce close calls in their departments. Thank you for taking the time to share your close calls with us.
