On May 21, 2019, at approximately 12:31 a.m., Columbus Police Officers were summoned to 770 Kerr Street on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found an unresponsive male victim, lying on the floor, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 1 arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim, later identified as 26yr old Stephen A. Smith Jr., deceased at 12:40 a.m.
