On May 22, 2018, at approximately 4:17 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 1250 East 20th Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male victim, later identified as 30yr old Shedrick Parker III, lying on the street behind a parked vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 18 responded to the scene and transported Mr. Parker to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at 4:54 a.m. by attending medical personnel.
