On July 25, 2022, at approximately 11:36pm, officers were dispatched to the 1900 Block of W. Broad St. on a shots fired. Officers arrived at scene and located evidence of shooting however, a victim was not located. A short time later, officers were dispatched to the area of Livingston Ave and Fairwood Ave on the report of a shooting. Officers and Columbus Fire Medic 815 arrived at scene and found the victim, 52yr old Robert Lester, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medic 815 pronounced the victim deceased at 11:40pm.
