On the morning of January 17, 1997, deputies responded to the 600 block of South Cleveland Ave. in Suffield, Ohio, in response to a deceased person. Upon arrival, deputies located 30yr old victim, Renee L. Wise on the floor of her apartment. The victim was beaten, cut and strangled. She was pronounced deceased on scene, with the manner of death being ruled a homicide.
