On November 29, 1981, victim John D. Sobina was found lying in the roadway in front of 2753 State Route 59 in Ravenna, Ohio; the victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his wounds. Mr. Sobina was working a shift at the Falcon gas station, with witnesses confirming him working inside the store prior to being found in the roadway between the gas station and the drive-in theatre directly across the street.
