On the morning of Wednesday, July 12, 2007, 30 year old Luis Orlando Morales was found dead among parked cars in front of his apartment located at 4434 East Mound Street in Whitehall, Ohio, a suburb on the east side of Columbus, Ohio. Morales died of multiple stab wounds. Morales was a citizen of El Salvador. At the time of his death, he was in the United States legally and was employed by a local catering service.
