On Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 9:30PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 1000 block of S. Ashburton Rd. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found 19-year-old Sincere Moore, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 15 transported S.M. to a local hospital in critical condition. Mr. Moore was in the front yard of a house in the 1000 block of S. Ashburton Rd. when an unidentified person approached and began firing shots without any apparent provocation. Moore did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 6:21PM.
