Unsolved homicide – Norman Davis
Details
On October, 16 1980, at approximately 5:40 am, 52yr old Norman Davis had just arrived for work at the Bonded Oil Station on the corner of Limestone and McCreight. He was preparing to open the store for the day. Apparently, would-be robbers approached Davis and shot him with a 12-gauge shotgun killing him instantly. Mr. Davis left behind a wife and four children. Springfield Police are still investigating this case.
