Danny joined the Taxation Section in October 2013. Danny represents the Ohio Department of Taxation in various litigation matters, relating primarily to tax assessments and administrative decisions issued by the Ohio Department of Taxation. Danny has appeared and argued before the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals and in numerous state courts, including the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Previously, Danny was a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, in Washington, D.C. At DOJ, Danny represented numerous federal agencies in matters before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Danny began his legal career as a litigator at a leading global law firm in Washington, D.C. There, he obtained litigation experience and training in several different subject areas, but primarily in civil taxation.

During law school, Danny was an editor for the Virginia Tax Review. And, during the summer after his first year of law school, Danny served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Richard W. Roberts of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
