Lisa joined the Labor Relations Section in March, 2018.  She began her career at the Attorney General's Office in 2013 in the Workers Compensation Section. Previously, she had 24 years experience in private practice defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters. She also previously served as Administrator of the Ohio Turnpike Commissions self-insured program.

Historically, Lisa has been an avid volunteer serving numerous bar associations. Most recently, she serves on the OSBA Council Of Delegates (Dist. 12 ) ( two terms) and she presently chairs the Justinian Forum Judicial Ratings Committee. She is a past Trustee of both the Cleveland and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. She is also a former Trustee of the Northeast Ohio Self-Insurer's Association.

During her years with the CBA & CMBA, Lisa served as Chair of the Workers Compensation Section; Chair of the Court Rules Committee; Chair of the Practice & Procedure Clinic; and Trial Counsel for the Certified Grievance Committee. While at the Attorney General's Office, Lisa has served on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and assisted in drafting our Diversity Plan. She also served on the Forms Committee for the Workers Compensation Section.

Lisa is the author of "Changing Horses in Midstream: The Impact of Starkey on R.C. 4123.512 Appeals" published in May, 2013 Clemetrobar Journal.

Lisa is a 1983 graduate of John Carroll University and received her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1988.
