Rick Baum

Rick Baum has been with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office since 2007. He serves as the Managing Attorney of its Toledo Regional Office and as an assistant attorney general in its Health and Human Services Section. As Managing Attorney, Rick oversees eight attorneys and 11 non-attorney personnel representing 10 sections of the Office. As an Assistant Attorney General, he represents the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services in trial and appellate courts in a 25-county region in northwest and central Ohio.

Before joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Rick worked in the Appellate Division of the Lucas County, Ohio Prosecutor’s Office. He also clerked for James D. Bates, of the Lucas County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas.
