Melissa Wilburn

Melissa L. Wilburn has served most clients of the Health and Human Services Section since joining Office of the Ohio Attorney General in 2004. Currently representing the Ohio Department of Insurance and the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, Melissa’s practice centers around R.C. Chapter 119 at the hearing and appellate levels.

Before joining the Office of the Ohio Attorney General, Melissa had her own firm, Brooks, Wilburn and Logan, Co. L.P.A., where she conducted a civil litigation practice and advised a physician peer review organization on legal and policy strategy, including state contracting. She interned for the late U.S. Senator Arlen Specter while working towards a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs.
