Emily Pelphrey

Emily Pelphrey joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2007. She has been in the Health and Human Services Section since 2013, where she practices administrative law. Her clients are the Medical Board, the Vision Professionals Board, and the Ohio Commission on Minority Health. Before joining HHS, Emily spent approximately six years in Special Prosecutions, where her prosecutions were focused on sexually based crimes, child exploitation, and capital murder. She handled cases in over 30 Ohio counties, and had jury trials in over ten Ohio counties.

Before joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Emily worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Summit County, Ohio.
