Cheryl Hawkinson

Cheryl Hawkinson joined the Health and Human Services Section of the Office of the Ohio Attorney General in November 2012, having previously been an assistant attorney general with Executive Agencies for 12 years and the Consumer Protection Section for 3 years. Currently, Cheryl represents the Ohio Department of Medicaid, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, the Ohio Department of Aging, and the Speech and Hearing Professionals Board in administrative hearings and litigation.

Before joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office in 2001, Cheryl was a staff attorney for the Criminal Sentencing Commission, 1994-1998, clerked for the Third District Court of Appeals in Lima, Ohio 1992-1994, and was assistant law director for the City of Lima, Ohio 1991-1992.
