Charissa Payer

Charissa joined the Health and Human Serves Section in 2011. As a Principal Assistant Attorney General, she represents state boards and agencies in healthcare-related regulatory prosecutions and appeals. Charissa has served in several civil and criminal sections of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office since 1999 and has handled many complex litigation matters for the office in state and federal court. Charissa has been a speaker at state and national conferences on a variety of topics and has been a presenter at continuing legal education seminars. Before joining the office, she was an Assistant County Prosecutor and was in private practice.
