Phillip joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2023.  Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Phillip was an Associate Attorney at a civil litigation law firm in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, Phillip’s practice focused on Labor & Employment law, where he assisted clients in areas pertaining to employment discrimination and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims.
 
While in law school, Phillip was a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Christopher B. Epley at the Second District Court of Appeals. There, Phillip wrote memoranda of law and draft opinions for cases on appeal.
