Iris joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2021. She represents a variety of clients including the Board of Bar Examiners, Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board, Courts of Appeals, Inspector General, Office of Budget and Management, and the State of Ohio. Iris is also a member of the Public Records Unit.
Prior to joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Iris served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office – Civil Litigation. In this role, Iris represented Franklin County agencies and their employees in constitutional cases brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Iris also represented clients in cases involving: petitions for extraordinary writs (e.g., mandamus, procedendo, prohibition); civil appeals of administrative decisions; and emergency protective services for adults experiencing abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
