Diane currently is a Deputy Solicitor General in the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.  Her practice there focuses on matters before the Ohio Supreme Court, United States Supreme Court, and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Before re-joining the Ohio Attorney General’s Office in 2019, she served as the Deputy Chief Legal Counsel to Ohio Governor John Kasich.  Diane has been in private practice at Bricker & Eckler LLP in Columbus.  She also previously served as a Deputy Solicitor in the Appeals Section and as the Section Chief of the (then) Chief Counsel’s Staff Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.  During her legal career, she clerked for Judge Alice Batchelder on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and for Justice Robert Cupp on the Supreme Court of Ohio.
