Senate Bill 115 extends the moratorium on opening new sweepstakes establishments through June 30, 2014. The legislation also requires all sweepstakes establishments that have been in operation since June 2012 to file a new affidavit with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. This filing, which must be made on the form provided below, must be made under oath and provided to the Attorney General’s office by June 27, 2013.
If a sweepstakes fails to file the required form on time, civil penalties, injunctions and other actions may result.
