Below 100 Train the Trainer
Over the course of the last decade, more than 150 law enforcement officers, on average, have died each year in the line of duty. Law enforcement is a dangerous profession and, unfortunately, the potential for line-of-duty deaths is ever present. Sadly, too many of these deaths are attributable to preventable factors. The Below 100 initiative was started in 2011 with the mission of reducing line-of-duty deaths of law enforcement officers to less than 100 per year through the targeting of common behaviors, practices, and mind sets that increase the potential of preventable deaths.
This 8-hour presentation includes the High Level Overview program (4 hours) and an afternoon Train-the-Trainer portion that will equip trainers to conduct risk assessments, examine policy and make changes if necessary, and present the Below 100 program within their own agencies.
