On May 1, 2022, at approximately 4:49am, officers were dispatched to the 5700 Block of Cleveland Ave on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found the victim, 42yr old Fidel Rios Corral, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Medic 6 transported the victim to Riverside Hospital. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 7:06am.
