Dear Law Enforcement Colleague,
Online registration for the 2013 Ohio Attorney General's Law Enforcement Conference is now available on line at:
The conference is the preeminent gathering of state, county and municipal law enforcement officers in Ohio. It will be held October 29th and 30th at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. Dwindling resources and increasingly cunning criminals mean law enforcement agencies across Ohio and the nation have to work harder, smarter and more collaboratively than ever before.
With Attorney General Mike DeWine's theme of Protecting Ohio's Finest, the conference will feature 30 educational workshops. Topics will include single officer response to active threat, critical incident stress management awareness, tactical communications, investigation and prosecution of the craigslist serial killer, and opiate abuse. All workshops have been approved by the Supreme Court for 1.5 hours of continuing legal education credit. Additionally, we will honor officers who have served above and beyond the call of duty with our awards ceremony.
Attendees are also invited to attend the FOP evening reception at Callahan's from 6-8pm on October 28th.
If you would like to view the conference schedule or workshop descriptions before registering please see the hardcopy registration.
