Fallen Officers' Memorial

Located on the grounds of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in London, Ohio, the Ohio Fallen Officers' Memorial contains two circular walls inscribed with the names of Ohio's fallen officers. A flame at the center of the memorial serves as an eternal symbol of the dedication to service and the ultimate price paid by these officers. A third circular sitting wall allows visitors the opportunity to reflect on what it means for a peace officer to abide by the oath to serve and protect.

Each year the Attorney General and the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission pay homage to past fallen officers at a special memorial ceremony held at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in London. The 2012 memorial ceremony is scheduled for May 3 of this year.
