New Tailored Architect/ Engineer Agreements and Revised Construction Checklist

3/25/2010

We now have tailored versions of the new Architect/ Engineer Agreements, including an Architect/ Engineer Agreement with a Construction Manager, and an Architect/ Engineer Agreement with Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (“LEED”) requirements.

For your convenience, we have also reformatted and streamlined the construction contract checklist. As you may note, some questions on the checklist are now posed in different ways in an effort to clarify the information being requested, and a few other items have been eliminated in an effort to streamline the checklist preparation procedure. No new supporting documentation is being requested at this time.

These new versions of the Architect/Engineer Agreement and the construction checklists are now posted on our Web site at www.OhioAttorneyGeneral.gov/ConstructionContractsChecklists.

You are free to use the new Architect/Engineer Agreements and checklists at any time. We are requesting that you use the new Architect/Engineer Agreements for all Architect/Engineer Agreements with RFQs posted on and after May 1, 2010. We are requesting that you use the new construction checklists for any submissions to our office made on and after April 12, 2010.

As always, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
