Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced a lawsuit against the owner of the Newark-area gyms Anytime Women's Fitness, 24hr Fitness Express, and 24hr Women's Workout. The lawsuit charges Steven Riffle with multiple violations of Ohio's consumer laws.

Attorney General Mike DeWine today submitted to the Ohio General Assembly a revised 2011 annual report regarding business entities that were granted economic development awards from the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD). The report describes to what extent those entities complied with the terms and conditions of the awards they received.

This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed a Sixth Circuit decision expanding Miranda rights for prisoners.  Attorney General Mike DeWine participated in the case, filing an amicus brief in support of the State of Michigan.
